For the second year in a row, DFC team members joined Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) employees, Veterans, and other community members to participate in the 5th Annual VA2K Walk and Roll event. The 1.2 mile walk began and ended at VA Central Office in Washington, D.C.

VA2K is a nationwide event that encourages healthy activity while also supporting homeless Veterans with donated food and clothing items. In 2014, more than 25,000 people participated in the event at 172 different VA locations, donating money and goods worth more than $300,000 to help homeless Veterans.
