Our work

A career in consulting is an opportunity to learn new things, wear multiple hats and most importantly, make a difference for our clients. We support major federal healthcare and benefits programs across multiple agencies, and our work positively impacts the lives of millions of Americans each day. From Day One at DFC, you’ll have the ability to grow your consulting skills through building relationships with clients and colleagues, creating impactful deliverables, proposing new ideas, owning tasks and many other opportunities that are not instantly available at larger firms. There are always opportunities to take on new challenges and learn new skills.

Building community

That’s the DFC culture. We take pride in going the extra mile for our clients. Which means we also go the extra mile to celebrate our successes, both personal and professional. Whether it’s the occasional baby shower, happy hour for our latest contract win, monthly birthday parties in the office, annual potlucks, and big holiday party celebrations, we find a way to celebrate. We also love a good friendly competition to challenge ourselves and our team mates to be the best we can be. We’d love for you to join us for our self-made trivia nights (Friends, Harry Potter, and Disney nights remain the favorites), annual bowling matches, relay races at field day, fantasy football, or even March madness. There is something for everybody and we can’t wait to see what you bring to our team.

See what the DFC team has to say

Working at DFC has allowed me to take ownership of my career while still being able to collaborate in a team environment in support of some of the largest federal healthcare programs. From day one, my team gave me the opportunity to ask questions, challenge the status quo for the betterment of our healthcare system, and grow from -and with- talented people.
– Claire, 5 years at DFC

I came to DFC just three weeks after graduating from college, with absolutely no knowledge of consulting, client relationships, or federal contracting. DFC has provided me with so many opportunities for growth over these past few years. Outside of working with my awesome teammates, I really love our office events like GIVE activities and holiday potlucks. DFC has also given me the flexibility to get my master’s degree part time, and I really appreciate that.
