DFC Awarded Contract with VA to Develop Training for the FDC Program

Duty First Consulting (DFC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, to provide training support to the Fully Developed Claims (FDC) and Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQs) process and electronic submission of claims through eBenefits and SEP and encourage using the assistance of a Veteran Service Officer (VSO). The DFC Team has been tasked to develop a series of training videos to educate and engage both internal and external stakeholders about the FDC Program. Trainings will be delivered to VA employees, VSOs and key stakeholders.

The Fully Developed Claims (FDC) Program was created to help address the backlog and decrease the amount of time it takes to develop and process claims. Engaging and educating key VA and external stakeholders about the FDC Program, the role of VSOs, the Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQ) submission process, and electronic submission through eBenefits and the Stakeholder Enterprise Portal (SEP) plays an integral role in reducing the backlog. By educating and training those on the front lines who are most engaged with Veterans, we can positively raise Veteran awareness and shift their behavior.
