Wreaths Across America’s mission is to “Remember our fallen heroes, honor those who serve, and teach our children about the sacrifices made by Veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.”

Each December, on National Wreaths Across America Day, Wreaths Across America’s carries out their mission by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as more than 1,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.

This past Saturday, DFC joined the Code of Support Foundation and thousands of other local volunteers at Arlington National Cemetery to pick up the wreaths that were placed in December. This volunteer event was one of several events DFC participates in each year as a part of our GIVE (Get Involved for Veterans) Program.
